Binder and adhesive materials

Polyurethane Adhesive & Binder Materials

Match the binder or adhesive to the aggregate, substrate, mixing method, application window and service conditions of the intended surface system.

Define the material role

Select a polyurethane binder or adhesive as part of a known system.

The same product label should not be assumed to cover colored pavement, EPDM granules, stone aggregate or every coating application. Compatibility depends on the product code, components being bonded, mix ratio, application conditions and intended service.

Send the aggregate or granule type, substrate, required finish and installation method so the correct product documentation can be matched.

Selection path

Match the product code to the actual construction method.

01

Aggregate-bound surfaces

Confirm aggregate type, moisture, grading, binder ratio, compaction and exposure before selecting a binder.

02

Sports-surface materials

Confirm whether the material binds EPDM or other granules and how it connects to the base and wear layers.

03

Adhesive applications

Confirm both materials being bonded, surface preparation, joint geometry, load and environmental conditions.

Document check: use the current product TDS/SDS and written quotation for mix ratio, application limits, packaging and final supply details.
