Keep track and court systems separate

A running track is not the same specification as a silicone-PU court.

Running-track materials should be selected around the track base, intended use, resilient and wear layers, line marking, climate and any applicable project standard. Court products should be reviewed on their own system pages.

MPU can review the required material route after the base condition, dimensions and specification are provided.

Layer-by-layer review

Confirm the surface as one compatible construction.

    Verify the base

    Check flatness, strength, drainage, cracking, contamination and moisture before selecting repair or primer materials.

    Define the resilient layer

    Confirm the specified material, thickness, granule or rubber requirements and installation method.

  3. 03

    Define the wear surface

    Match the wear or spray layer to the intended track system and project specification.

  4. 04

    Approve color and markings

    Confirm color, line dimensions, marking material and any sample or trial-area requirement.

Specification boundary: final thickness, consumption, cure window and test requirements must come from the approved system documents and written project confirmation.
